2024 Organizer repeated crashes on opening when trying to download photos on an M1 Mac mini

Question

Mac running Sonoma. Stopped crashing after I immediately stopped the download process and changed the download file from /Pictures/Adobe/Other Photos.

I was trying to access my photos app where I have 1000s of personal photos.

I had no problems downloading photos from a file of photos downloaded for a course on using Photoshop Elements.

But there seems no way to access the Mac photos app.

I sent the crash reports to Adobe, but who knows if that will do any good.

Very frustrated. I bought this app to be able to edit the photos in my photos app but this doesn't seem possible.

I have the same problem with my Mac Mini M2 Pro (14.4.1).
The Organizer crashes every time I try to launch it, even if I create a new library. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling without fixing anything.
There seems to be no solution (I have sent countless reports to Adobe who have not responded). I think I will remove it because it is totally unreliable.
