2025 PSE not installing due to corrupt installer

Hi there,

 

I'm receiving the message below when I try to install PSE 2025.  I've tried installing from Downloads, Desktop and using different browsers.  I've removed all the cookies and caches and reinstalled Creative Cloud (after 2 days of it refusing to launch, I deleted every Adobe file on my PC, and voila! CC launched). I had PSE 2019 but removed it with all the CC issues.  Now that download also comes up with the message below.

 

Has anyone got any ideas on fixing this?  It would be much appreciated.

I think part of the problem is due to multiple failed attempts.  Parts of the previous attempts are there, and whatever installed you are using gets confused, becuase it sees the remenents of your previous attempts.

 FIRST:  turn your computer all the way off- go get a cup of coffee, and come back, turn it on.  Please just restart it, turn it all the way off.  

  1. Re-download the Installer: Ensure you're downloading the installer directly from the official Adobe website. Sometimes, downloads can get corrupted due to interruptions.

  2. Check System Requirements: Verify that your system meets the minimum requirements for Photoshop Elements 2025. You can find these details on Adobe's troubleshooting page.

  3. Disable Antivirus Temporarily: Some antivirus programs can interfere with installations. Temporarily disable your antivirus software and try installing again. Remember to re-enable it afterward.

  4. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the installer file and select "Run as Administrator." This can help bypass permission issues.

  5. Clear Previous Install Attempts: If you've tried installing before, there might be leftover files causing conflicts. Uninstall any partially installed versions and delete related files from your system.

Hi Glenn,

 

I followed your instructions and the link to the letter with no luck. 

 

I've just been successful in downloading PSE11 which I used many years ago and had upgraded it PSE19 in 2020.  It went through the traditional install wizard screens with no problem.  I had hoped that this might faciliate my PSE19 or PSE25 to run but still no luck.  Same corrupted installer message. 

Thanks for the advice, it might not have worked but it is eliminating options and solutions. It has to narrow down to a successful one soon.
