24 hour clock in ajust date/Time in Elements Organizer 2022

Hello

I just installed Photoshop elements 2022 and Premiere Elements 2022.

In Elements Organizer I want to ajust date an time. I select to a specific date/Time.

I can not enter hours higher than 12.

I can use to arrow up. And when it gets to 12 it starts with 1 (Which will be 13 if I select it).

There is no AM/PM buttom.

Anyone experienced this?

Kind regards

Hans Jokumsen

Yes, this definitely appears to be a bug.  I just changed my English (United States) time format to the 24 hour clock in the (well-hidden) Windows settings.  Immediately, the Organizer showed the time stamp for my photos in the 24 hour format.  But if I attempt to adjust the time, using the Organizer's arrow buttons, the time only cycles through a 12 hour clock.

This is the first time that I have seen anyone mention the problem, but I shall report it to Adobe.  I can't imagine that it will be high on the fix list since there is a fairly easy workaround.  @MichelBParis, can you check some older versions to see whether this is a long-existing issue or whether it is something new.  Thanks.

Hi Greg,

I am away from home for a couple of weeks, so I don't have older versions installed. I am pretty sure thatthe problem has always existed. I can't remember seeing the 24 hours mode displayed in the changing dialog, nor the AM/PM  next to the 12 hours display.

PSE / Organizer relies upon system settings for things like time.

No "bug"- it's just a hidden setting in windows.

Hello Glenn

Thanks for the advice.

But I have defined a 24-hour clock in Windows.

And if you lookat my second example the catalog uses a 24-hour clock.

But when using the Ajust function it does not. And as I stárted to mention.

If I use the up arrow it goes from/to 12,1-12,1-11.

So to me it looks like a bug.

Anyway. I found a way to solve my problem.

Kind regards

Hans Jokumsen

I've never noticed this before (because I generally use a 12 hour format), but it is surprising that there is no option in any language to use a 24-hour clock.

Hello Greg

It is event more strange because when looking at the catalog it uses a 24-hour clock.

See my new example.

So I believe it must be a bug.

Kind regards

Can you give us a screenshot?  What language is your program set to?  In the English version of the program, AM and PM are available.  If you don't have it, try typing in AM or PM into the text box.

Hello

My region/country is set to Denmark.

Normally we us a 24 hour clock.

You are right I can write AM/PM into the text box.

Screen shot provided.

I still find it strange behaviour. But anyway my problem is solved. So thanks.

Kind regards

Hi @HansJ

I have the same issue with the PSE English version on a French Windows 10.

I also can enter AM or PM manually (thanks Greg for the tip), but that never appears in the Date/Time dialog.

So it looks like a bug linked to other languages in Windows.

To be able to know if you are in AM or PM, I suggest keeping the information panel open on the right and look at the date/time displayed in the top 'general' section. It is clearly stated in 24 hours format.
