32-bit vs. 64-bit for macOS High Sierra

My Photoshop Elements 11 won't work until I get it updated to 64-bit since I installed macOS High Sierra.  I can't seem to find any help on the Adobe website.  Can anyone help me out?

Ok, let's see if someone recognizes that. But the chances are, you do need to buy a new version.

Still, 32 bit apps continue to work in Mojave too. That should be what the warning message is telling you.

So, while I'm sure you have a problem and we'd like to help you with it, it ISN'T that your app isn't 64 bit. However, that is a very old version and might not work in mojave for other reasons.

Please tell us your symptoms.

Elements editor opens but only stays open for less than 30 seconds.

Check if Elements 11 is listed in the control list and has a checkmark. You could also start by deleting prefs. See this similar thread:

What makes you say that this is the problem? 32-bit support will be removed in Mac OS 10.15, not in High Sierra. Certainly, there are warning messages, but these don't stop anything working, or do they?

My mistake.  I meant Mohave 10.14.2.
