6x6 collage

I am making photo quilts for each of my grandchildren. The pictures I am using go back 23 years. I can't enlarge them without losing resolution so I would like to make a 6x6 collage and add 4 pictures to each collage. How do I do that?

Hi Janne. What are the dimensions of the 6x6 collage? Feet? Inches? How do you think this is going to improve the resolution of the output on the quilt?
