A Couple Photoshop Elements Questions

Helllo Gals and Guys - 

 

I have Photoshop Elements 2021 intalled on a couple Macs running macOS 15 and two Windows PCs - one running Windows 10 and Windows 11 for the other.  A few days ago my PC with Windows 10 did a large update, but none of the other computers have prompted me to update.  Is this normal?

 

Secondly, when I close Photoshop and reopen it, if I'm using the clone stamp tool it does not have the panel at the bottom showing so you can change to the pattern stamp or the size of the cursor.  I have to slick another tool then go back to the panel to show up.  Is there some way I can fix this?  Thanks for any help.

Are talking about an update to Windows 10 itself?

 

It seems Photoshop Elements always defaults to showing the Photo Bin upon opening.

 

Did you try clicking on the Tool Options buton to the right of the Photo Bin button?

Thanks Jeff.  It was a Photoshop update as it gave me the update now or when you close option.  I never saw the Tool Options before and it does pop it up, but this only seems to happen with the Clone Stamp too, which makes me wonder why?  Thanks again.
