That's not a typical error message for installing updates of the ACR converter.

First, could you check in the following link if the camera you want supported needs more than the 7.1 version supplied with PSE11 or the 7.4 version PSE11 can be updated to?

You find your present ACR version in the menu Help >> About plugins.
