Accessing Catalogue in an External Hard Drive

When I recently got a new computer I decided to go ahead and set up catalogue in an external hard drive (ehd). It seemed to work for a while, I could access all of my old photos, but I can't seem to get to them now. I can see them in their folder on the ehd, but can't get to them through elements. I have Elements 13.  When I set it up originally, the pathway was there and clear, but now I can't find it and it is going to pics on my laptop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Shanon,

I would like to know few things:

1).When you launch Organizer is the catalog name same as it was previously?

2)Do you see any missing files in your catalog ?

3).Have you reinstalled the product ? In that case, you'll have to manually set the catalog location through catalog manager. You can do this by launching Catalog manager(File menu->Manage Catalogs->Custom location). Once you select Custom location option you can select browse option and navigate to your catalog folder on your ehd.

    Thanks,

    Ankit

Thanks! I was able to re-do a custom location path and it seems to be working now.
