(google trad) Hello, I'm having trouble installing Photoshop Elements 15 on a new PC (Windows 11). Photoshop Elements 15 refuses to activate my license. After contacting Adobe support, I was able to verify (unsuccessfully) that my license was indeed deactivated on my other devices. I also tried reinstalling with my antivirus and firewall disabled.Has anyone else encountered or resolved this type of problem? Thank you for your help.

This is the Photoshop forum, and your question is best answered by the Experts in the PSE forum. The issue might be that PSE 15 was released in 2016 and needs to be updated, but they can better advise.

You’ll need to reword your question a bit, because we have gotten reports that the new forum software rejects duplicate posts.

Photoshop Elements 15 is from 2016, so official support for Windows 11 is spotty at best, and activation servers can be picky with older versions now.

Since you've already checked deactivation and tried reinstall with security off, one thing that sometimes helps is installing the old Creative Cloud desktop app first (even if you don't use it) – it can kickstart the licensing backend on newer Windows. Grab it from an archived Adobe link or your old installer if you have it.

If that doesn't do it, the Elements-specific forum (linked in the replies) is your best next stop; post the same details there as experts hang out more. Hang in there, these old perpetual licenses can be stubborn but usually sort out.
