Add text to image

I can add text properly using the Horizontal Text Tool in PSE 9 (Windows 10) to an image taken with a Sony RX10 IV camera but not to an image taken with a Canon 7D II. When trying to add text to the Canon image, I can't select the font size. It seems defaulted to a tiny font that I can't read. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Highlight the pt. value that is on display on the Type tool's option bar, and enter 110 or 140. You are not limited to the default values in the drop-down.

It could be resolution dependent. Try changing the font size manually. You can go above the default maximum of 72. Try entering 100 or higher.
