Adding Selection to Existing Mask

Maybe thissi is mentioned somwhere in the manuel, but I could not find it.

You created a layer mask with selected objects and applied Refined Edge to it--fine

All selections (marching ants) are now deleted from the image

Then you see you need to add some more stuff to the mask, so you select the new odjects

But how do you **add them** to the existing mask? Is there a fast, one- click way of doing this?

Select the new objects and apply whatever refinements you require. Hold Shift and Ctrl (PC) or Cmd (Mac) and click the mask thumbnail. This will add the new selections and the original mask selections together. Now you can fill with black or white on the mask layer.
