Adobe Application Manager

When I installed Photoshop Elements 13 on my MacBook Pro running Mojave, I received the following message:

"Adobe Application Manager Utilities is not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated.  This software will not work with future versions of MacOS and needs to be updated to improve compatibility.  Contact the developer for more information."

 

Is that because PSE 13 is 32 bit and my new Mac has 64 bit processors?

 

Does this mean  I need to update the Adobe Application Manager?  If so, how do I do that?

 

I was able to install PSE 13 but I get the spinning wheel constantly.

    It simply means that PSE13 was developed for an earlier OS and is not optimized to work with Mojave.

    You could try adding the apps to the control list.

     

    Click System Preferences in the dock and open Security & Privacy

    Choose the Privacy tab and the choose Accessibility

    Click the lock to unlock (you may be prompted for your Apple system login password)

    Then click the plus button

    Navigate to:

    Macintosh HD >> Applications >> Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 >> Support Files

    Choose (highlight) Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor and click open (or simply add a check-mark if already listed)

    Re-lock and try the editor again. Repeat for Organizer if using.
