Adobe elements 10 keeps shutting off

My photoshop elements 10 has recently stopped working.  It closes within 10 seconds after I open it saying that there is a problem with the application manager.  I have reached out to customer support and have recieved zero help.  Please if anyone knows how to correct this problem, I am all ears.   They redirected me to this forum

Adobe elements 10 shuts off ater about 10 seconds, it asks me to go to www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager and download a new application manager.  The only thing available to download is creative cloud which also doesn't install correctly.
