Adobe file has a zip file and patch files in the folder

I need HELP!! I'm not sure what I did but when I go into my applications and I click on adobe I get a folder that comes up with

the Adobe file and a "patch file"?? When I click on the adobe file a zip file comes up??? What did I do wrong how do I fix it?

Thank you for your time. I'm new to mac and adobe and this is the only way I could get help
