Adobe Photoshop 9 only gives me FAX print as an option - how can I fix this?

I bought a new printer - all of my other software is doing just fine with it.  Adobe Photoshop 10 seems to think I am trying to fax.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still everytime I try to print a picture only fax options come up.  My printer has the option of faxing, but I have not activated this feature.

I have the same problem. Much appreciated if you share what you did to fix it.

Indeed, that's a very old question. I remember having the same issue with an old HP printer. The problem was that the menus to choose the default printer drivers did truncate the driver names, the 'fax' words did not appear. The solution was to rename the drivers to a shorter name to be able to select the correct one.

We need info on your operating system and what printer. Nobody here can just guess. In any case, since this is a product specific issue, ask your question in the PSE forum.

Did not expect you to guess - I expected you to contact me and ask me what you needed to know and treat me respectfully as a customer.

No problem - I have since resolved with help from a friend.  Who wasn't condesending.
