Adobe Photoshop Elements 12

I use a Mac computer with the OS Catalina. Since installing Catalina as an update I find my Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 keeps closing down when I try to process any actions on a photograph. Looking on the web I note the latest Photoshop Elements is "23" however it refers to a Mac OS as version 11, 12 or 12.4, my Catalina one is version 10.15.7.

Any suggestions how I proceed to use Elements with my current OS if the new one one doesn't seem to support my OS and therefore cannot be downloaded?
