You are right:

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

Your camera requires the 9.7 ACR converter which is only available in Elements 15 (after update from the menu Help >> Update).

You can use the free solution to download the Adobe DNGconverter mentioned in that faq:

FAQ: Will Photoshop Elements work with my camera, or Why won't my raw files open?

That independent software (not a plugin) can batch convert a whole folder of your raw files to the DNG raw format that your Elements versions (and older ones) can read and edit. A single batch step more, but free.

Hi, Thanks,

Wel small disapointment ;-)

i can open the g80 raw files in a other aplication so not that a problem. (wanted to use it as a reverence output to see if adobe also reads extra information embedded in exif. like camera colortaste and Intelligence Resolution or intelligence dynamic range options.

If i really need pse13 and 16bit i wil export a TIF and load this into editor.

If you want to keep the advantages of the raw format and the power of the ACR module, you really should try the DNGconverter. Converting to TIF from your other software is an additional step anyway.

Also compare the file size of the TIF and that of the DNG. You can open your DNG in 16 bits in the editor if you want.
