Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 Duplicate Photos

I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements 15. For weeks now I have been using "By Visual Searches, Find Duplicates.  It has worked just fine until a few hours ago.  I have deliberately chosen photos that are duplicates, but the message I get now is "No valid stack group found in selection."  Would appreciate help.
