Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 Photo Editor won't launch

For some reason the Photo Editor in Elements 15 fails to launch on my system. From the welcome menu, Organizer and Video Editor open without any problems however, Photo Editor just sits in limbo with the "working" status indicator scrolling back and forth across the action button for as long as you let it. I tried changing the options in the drop down menu to "Launch Photo Editor at application startup" and now nothing happens at all when I try to open the application.

Any advice anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Which OS are you working on?

    Try restarting your machine on. After reboot, while launching Editor, keep Ctrl+Alt+Shift (WIN) / Cmd+Shift+Option (MAC) keys pressed.

    This will ask you to delete preference settings.

    Let us know if issue still persists.
