Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 in modern day.

A while ago I got my hands on a CD of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, from what little I've been able to find it seems dated, but other than that I haven't been able to find much about it. Is it still usable in the modern day? (Somewhat skeptical though) Or would I need to get my hands on an older computer to get it working? (The CD itself doesn't seem to read for me but I have been able to register it on my account if that changes anything)

Photoshop elements 2 is from around 2002 and will work on modern windows systems with one big caveat, your hard drive can't have more than 1 TB of freespace or pse 2 will generate a scratch disk full message.

Photoshop elements 2 will not work on any Mac OS since Mac OSX Tiger circa 2005.

If you look on the cd it should say what operating system it's for.

Most likely you'll be better off with a modern version of photoshop elements, especially if shoot photos with a modern camera.

I also found a disc, so I installed it with an external disc reader. The only issue was that I couldn't read the serial number that you need for installing. After I figured out what it was I had no problems running it on Windows 11.

Its from 2002 and likely will not even run on modern platforms. The Mac version would be PowerPC code (before Apple switched to Intel in 2006) and the Windows version would be Windows XP maybe?

Elements 2.0 will not run on current OS.

You're better off getting a current version for less than $100.
