I am receiving the following notice for the last few days. Have been running the software for the last several years without a problem.

Hitman Pro; Attack Intercepted. Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 Editor 18 has been terminated to prevent execution of malicious code. Please check your computer for malware and software updates.  Using the latest update for Windows 10, Hitman Pro,  and Adobe Photoshop.

    Hi Bruce,

     

    Could you please let us know what was the result after you added PSE Editor to the exception list of Hitman Pro?

    I have never heard of Hitman Pro before but obviously that is the cause of the message.  I assume there is a setting to exclude Elements from the malware scan.  And I'm guessing that you are getting a hit because Elements likes to "phone home" for a number of reasons, including activation and licensing.
