Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 - mp4 not importing video, only audio.

I have relevant codecs and the videos play correctly on VLC player.

Thankyou for the reply Greg, fortunately I managed to resolve the problem.
The resolution of the imported video was higher than the project setting (4K > 1080p). I had incorrectly assumed Premiere would automatically scale any imported video.

The duration seems a little odd.  What is the source of the video?  Does it contain HDR color space?   Please post a screenshot of any error message you are receiving?

 

Also provide the files full properties from MediaInfo which is a free utility.

 

You can also try transcoding the video with Handbrake, another free utility.
