Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 not loading

Hi, I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 installed on my Windows 11 Desktop. The software has latest updates. However when I try to run Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023, it shows "Loading ..." message for few seconds and then vanishes. No software comes up for me to edit the photos. I uninstalled and installed it again but to no avail. Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 loads and runs fine.

Any ideas how to fix the photoshop issue?

I have the same problem.  If I try the icon on the desktop, it will crash while it is loading.   If I go to the program file and click the .exe file, it does the same thing.  For a year I haven’t been able to use the program.  A few weeks ago, I was searching for a picture to send my son.  I right clicked on it and one of the options that came up was to “Open with Adobe Photoshop Elements”  I chose that option and the program loaded.   I closed the program and tried the icon again, and it still crashed. Opened another photo by right clicking it and choosing  “Open with Adobe Photoshop Elements”  and the program loaded and worked perfectly.   I have been doing this now for about 3 weeks and it is the only way I can open it.  Give it a try.  It may be a fluke for me but it may also work for you.  Won’t know unless you try.   Good luck!!

I have the same problem. photoshop elements 2023 does not load on my pc. On the other hand, premiere elements 2023 works well.
I have tried the recommendations of running as administrator and logging in from an image but none of them have worked for me.

Has it ever worked on your machine?

Are you able to open the Organizer?

How are you trying to open the Editor?  (From the Home Screen or the Organizer?) Have you tried right-clicking on the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe file (found in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2023 directory) and selecting Run as Administrator?

When you uninstalled, did you select the option to remove all preference files?  And did you uninstall both Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements?  If not, the Organizer will still be installed and may affect the PSE Editor.

Do you have a wifi printer?  If so, try changing the default printer to something else (in Windows Settings) - even a pdf virtual printer and see if it makes any difference.
