Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024

Hi All

I have a question.

ADOBE ELEMENTS 2024 TEXT OPACITY DEFAULTS TO 50% EVEN WHEN I SET TO 100% WHY. on my return its 50% again.

My previous Elements always stayed at 100% Opacity when I set it. Am I missing a setting ?
