Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 on Apple Silicon -- need download link for subscribers

PSE 2025 is available in native binaries for Apple Silicon through the Mac Store (see https://apps.apple.com/us/app/adobe-photoshop-elements-2025/id6714463383?mt=12) and can be run on Mac OS without requiring the Rosetta translation layer.

However, I have bought the 3-year subscription to PSE 2025. When I download this version on  the Mac, it gives me the intel .dmg which then prompts for Rosetta.

Given that I am a paid subscriber of PSE 2025, why can't I access the apple version  for download through my account?

Adobe says the Mac App Store handles the download, installation, licensing, and updating of all products purchased through it, so i guess the download for the Mac App Store version would have to come from Apple, since even though the product name and version number are the same, a Mac App Store purchase is a separate build of the application.

Indeed. The Mac store would handle the download/etc. My question is -- can Adobe make available a link to the same binary that the Mac store hosts? That would solve my problem with the regular download link which has the accursed x86 content...

I wonder if the Mac Store download includes the Rosetta installation?

I believe the actual photoshop elements 2025 editor and the organizer are Apple silicon , but some of the required functions like running certain filters, etc still require Intel code to run, which is why Rosetta is still apparently needed.

What's interesting is that if you download PSE 2025 directly from the MacStore, it runs perfectly. No Rosetta warnings. It just works. Is it possible to get a link to that image directly?

The version here that includes the 2025.1 update says it's macarm64

Indeed it does. I don't know if anyone else has tried to install from this link -- I have (I got the same link from the support chat engineers) -- it installs the launcher without an issue on Apple Silicon. However, when you click "Photoshop Elements Editor" from the launcher, it gives a warning that Rosetta needs to be installed. So I think either I'm doing something wrong or it's an x64 binary. What one would expect is for the download link: "Windows (x64)", "MacOS (x64)" and "MacOS (ARM64)". Presumably, they would need to add "Windows (ARM64)" if Adobe ever decide to support Windows ARM PC's.......
