adobe photoshop elements 2026

i created an adobe account and followed dowload steps however, when i downloaded the photoshop elements app, it asks either for a 7 day trial or months payments. i have already paid for it through a third party.

“Despite the key I purchased”-- -that’s a huge red flag. Did you pay around 25 Euro’s? If so, you were scammed. Adobe does not sell keys. Plenty of web sites sell “keys” and “lifetime licenses” to products which do not have a lifetime license (unless the product is a much older , unsupported version).

Let’s say you purchased a “lifetime license” for either Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements. Photoshop has been subscription based only since about 2013. Any “lifetime license” you could possibly purchase for Photoshop Elements would be from an old unsupported version.

Photoshop Elements (beginning with photoshop elements 2025) has gone to a 3 year term license, A “lifetime license” (Adobe called it a “perpetual license”) is a term that scammers like to use--- often it is used with old, unsupported versions.

Let’s say you purchased a “lifetime license” for photoshop elements 2026 (I’m guessing not from adobe)- then you are out of luck for two reasons.
1. Adobe does not sell “lifetime licenses”
2. Photoshop Elements 2026 is only offered as a 3 year term license.

BOTTOM LINE: If you did not make your purchase from Adobe you can probably kiss your money good bye.

Hi Steph, purchases direct from Adobe are automatically linked your Adobe ID. For purchases made through a third party you should have recieved a redempion code. Follow these steps:

Product Activation Instructions

Visit redeem.adobe.com/elements.
Sign in to your Adobe account or create an account. Please note that redemption code will be linked to your AdobeID.
Enter the redemption code and click “Redeem code”
Click “Get Started”

Hi

It did do that with success but when I clicked get started it took me back to a main page. When I downloaded photoshop elements , it said pay monthly or trial. Its like it didnt exist, that I had paid for it or redeemed photoshop elements. I went through each step but I ended up with nothing?? When I go to my adobe account, it has nothing on there either.
