adobe photoshop elements 4.0

I bought 2005 edition of elements 4.0 but never used it. I assume I never registered it at the time.

 

I have the original installation disc and serial number.

Is it possible to install this and update on Windows 10?

    PSE 4.0 did not require registration to work. You just had to enter the serial number.

     

    I doubt that it would be fully functional in Windows 10.

    I haven't been able to get PSE 5.0 to work on Windows 10, but I have heard of others that were able to install and use

    PSE 5.0 on Windows 10.

    FWIW, I have Elements 4 working well on a Win 11 machine.

        It is likely that you can install PSEv.4 on WIN 10. However, there is no "update." You can upgrade to PSE 2024, but that requires purchasing same. Check in the big box stores and Amazon. Amazon still has it on sale at discount.
