All of the sudden I am unable to download photos to photoshop elements from my iphone. It says "connecting to device.....please wait" and then it never gets past that. I've been downloading photos from my phone for months, so I have no idea why now a

I have always been able to download photos from my phone to photoshop elements, but now I can't seem to do it anymore. I tested my husbands phone and he got stopped at the same part I did. I'm not sure why it won't connect to my phone anymore but it's super frustrating! Anyone have any ideas or suggestions to get it to work again?

    I don't know anything about Macs, but importing from external devices is becoming increasingly tricky from any OS. That's why I recommend using a card reader, safe, fast... and affordable. If you can't connect directly from the organizer, chances are that you can download the pictures from your OS and then 'get them' in the catalog from 'Files and Folders'.

    With my smartphone, I also can use the 'share' functions to download to the sharing site (OneDrive for instance, or my supplier's site) where the photos are available for my different computers, tablets or phones.
