an empty gap appears when i make brush strokes

hi,

i am not sure how to explain this so here is an example,

i drew vertical brush strokes from the horizontal line, however there is an empty gap between the lines, other than that the brush does not lag. I disabled flicks and windows ink, is there any way to fix this?

What is "flicks" & "windows ink"?

in newer windows products there will be shortcuts that make the lines harder to draw when using a drawing tablet, so i disabled them. however, the empty gap appears with and without windows ink
