Application keeps asking me to sign on, after I sign on ... going in circles

I recently moved the contents of my previous computer to a new Mac. For some reason now, when I try to launch my Photoshop Elements 2020 I get a window asking me to sign on to my Adobe account. When I do, I get another window asking me to sign on, and again and again and again. How can I get out of this loop. It's frustrating and infuriating.

Running a brand new Mac Mini with an Apple M1 chip and MacOS 11.2.2.

Appreciate any help I can get to resolve this.
