I thought I had a really corrupted catalog, so I started a new one. The problem continues.

If using the “Face Tagging” feature. Auto Curate and Smart Tags fail continually. The Repair or Optimize of the Catalog does nothing. I have exempted all “Adobe” folders from Windows Security to now eval.

If I don’t use the Face Tagging, Auto Curate and Smart Tags works fine.

If I install on a Windows 10 computer, all works fine.

Ready to pull my hair out.

I believe this is a known bug that requires some specialized repair of the catalog/registry.  I suggest you contact Adobe Support to see if they can help you.  Please report back here what happens with Support.  If they are unable to help you, I may be able to escalate the issue to someone who can help.

I pasted the following into Copilot and received an answer instantly:  It may help you.

“In Win 11, auto Curate and Smart Tags fail continually, if Face Tagging is used. The Repair or Optimize of the Catalog does nothing. I have exempted all “Adobe” folders from Windows Security to now eval.  If I don’t use the Face Tagging, Auto Curate and Smart Tags works fine.  If I install on a Windows 10 computer, all works fine.”

    • Copilot may make mistakes.

I’ve tried every suggestion from Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT, nothing has worked, but thanks
