auto-detect a backward slide and reverse it?

I am scanning old slides, of which I have a few hundred.  I'm using an Epson flatbed scanner, and I can do four slides at a time - but still I occasionally get one in there upside down, and the image is reversed.  I was wondering, with all of these AI pieces being added to image processing these days, whether anyone had a tool that recognized things like backward letters in an image, and automatically offered the choice to flip the image?
