When Reconnecting Missing Files, if one cancells the process in progress, do the files Reconnected in the partial process get saved, or all all lost. It's taking a long time to process, hours upon hours.

In my experience, any files that have been reconnected will remain connected. But which method are you using to reconnect the files? There are several different possible workflows. How did the files become missing? There may be other suggestions to fix your problem. For example do you have any recent backups?
