What are you trying to 'automatize'?

That option in the File menu is not for you, it's for external add-on softwares to locate their scripts.

For instance, I have the scripts from Elements+ or OnOne in that 'Automation tools' menu.

In Elements, you can do batch operations with the 'Process multiple files' command in the file menu.
