Question

Been using Elements 2021 and have now switched to 2026. How do I move something

If I open two designs in 2026 and I want to move a design in one to the other design how do I do that?  In 2021 I just highlighted and moved to the screen at the bottom of the other design.  Now I can’t find any way to make this work.  Help.

There are two other ways  you could use:

    Way A

    1. In the Tool Options under Layout click on All Grid to put the two designs side by side
    2. Use the Move Tool to drag the object or word from one design to the other

    Way B

            1. Use the Move Tool to drag the object or word to the Tab of the other design

            2. when the tab highlights drag the object or word down into the design

In PSE 2021 were you dragging the  word “Paris” to the tab of the other design then dropping it into that image or did you have both designs side by side and dragged from design to the other?

If you think a screenshot would help, then post that.

For whatever reason that no longer works in PSE 2026, however, what does work is dragging up from the Photo Bin.

This just moved the whole picture up.  I want to take the word “Paris” in one element to another photo.

I would open two different designs.  The word Paris is written on one of them.  In 2021 I would click on Paris and pull it down to the other design in Photobin.  The word would then appear in the 2nd design.  That doesn’t work in 2026.  Thanks
