Hallo,

Meine PSE Version 19.0 (20210811.m.158081) - In einem Video von 2014 wurde beim Austausch des Hintergrundes in "Bild - Magische Extrahierung" gebraucht - bei meiner Version finde ich diese nicht.

The Magic Extractor tool does not exist in Elements 2019. It has been replaced by much better tools. For example, you can use the Auto Selection tool which is one of the Selection Tool options. Simply draw a rectangular marquee around your subject and the tool will select it.

Once the selection has been made, press Ctrl+J and the selection will be extracted to a new layer. You can then delete or replace the background layer.

Try the Lasso tool or the Magnetic lasso tool.

I find that it helps if the contrast is optimized prior to making the selection.
