Blank pictures with question mark?

Recently downloaded and install PS15 and noted in several of my folders  (which are named by the date of the photo) that not actual pictures are shown but a blank frame with a question mark in the middle of it?

I tried to reconnect the missing files and also repair the catalog with no change.

Almost all of this problem is related to the photos taken in year 2015? All other folders dating back to 2007 as well as those in 2016 at OK.

I checked my PS 13 version and has the same problem.

Has anybody know a solution for this?

I have the original files in a camera card. Would re importing the picture resolve it?

    Are these images still on your Hard Disk or have you moved them to an external portable drive?

    If they are on an external drive then you need to attach the drive and make sure it is recognized by the machine.  If the images are still on your HD then try to reconnect by going to:

    File >> Reconnect >> All Missing Files
