Borderless Printing

I am having problems with Borderless prints in Photoshop Elements. When I select paper size from the menu I get loads of choices but when it comes to print size I get only 5 choices all of them small and the custom setting wont let me set a larger print size, clicking expand to fit doesnt help. I always get white lines on 2 sides of the print. I use an Epson 8550. When I use Epson print software I can get Borderless prints without a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Print using the system dialogue, not what pops up in the program. 

CLICK ON ADVANCED SETTINGS
 Some of these settings may be different due to you having a different printer.

Thank you for your response. I am doing exactly what you suggest but I still get a white strip/border at the bottom of the print so am at a loss to know what to do
