Bought Elements 14 & can't reinstall it or get it to run - Adobe no help available

So I bought the program ( have the box & license) and can't get it to run correctly.  I installed and got the box that shows Editor, Organizer etc but when I click on Organize it hangs ie I get a blank window and even overnight nothing happens. I unstalled 3 times & even ran the Adobe Creative Cloud removal tool.  And I rebooted everytime yet nothing.  I even downloaded version 19 trial and it ran fine.  Even though I bought it Adobe provides zero help as there is no way to get to chat.  Funny how if I wanted I could pay $100 to buy version 19 yet still no help available.  About the only thing I can think of causing it to hang is Adobe insists on installing muliple versions of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 & 2008, so it now show like 5 versions Version 10

    Let it run for 10 hours & never got to the menu to chose Editor or Organizer. Just hangs.

    Have you tried launching the Editor for Elements 14, and does that work for you?

    Asking to know if the issue is with Oragnizer or both the apps.

    I already tried downloading the program & that didn't work either.  While waiting for help this morning. I just launched the organizer & it's just a blank screen. I will let it "try" to load for a few hrs & then check the editor.
