Bought from App Store, Can't Upgrade?

I bought PSE 2021 from the Mac app store.I just downloaded the latest update, but I don't have a serial number.Do I just have to wait until Adobe updates the version on the App store??

Hi,

Yes, the Mac App Store version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 is a separate build than the one you can purchase direct from Adobe or via an authorized reseller. As such, the Mac App Store handles all product updates.
