Is there anyone, who find a solution for this problem? - On Windows there is a workaround - but for MAC / OS Catalina is nothing to find ...

Here is the workaround for windows:

I´m searching a solution for MAC and hope, anyone has an idea.

OK.  We will have to see if @Jeff Arola has a solution for Mac users.
If not, there is a potential workaround. In the Editor, resize the large file and save it with a new name. In the Save As options, save the new file in the Organizer as a Version set. The thumbnail of the new (reduced size) file will appear in the grid and the original will be available in the stack beneath it.

As you have seen in the response to your other post, I don't believe there is any solution to a maximum size of file for Macs.  Which leads me to question whether your broken thumbnails are in fact caused by a size issue.  I am going to ping @Jeff Arola, a Community Expert who also has expertise in Macs to see whether he can shed any light on this issue.  In the meantime, can you post a screenshot of the broken thumbnails.  And also tell us the pixel dimensions of the files at issue.

Hello, Greg,

sorry - i did not tell the whole story. Thumbnails will shown normally - only when i use the Panorama-Merging, the "new" Thumbnail for the panorama is grey.

The first gray thumb is 13,3 MB - 16.917x6029

The second and third thumb is 13,3 MB, 17.715x5.853

There are many morge gray thumbs - up to 45 MB.

I can open them all with the editor -

The regulary thumbs have uo to 9.6 MB and 6.000x4.000

Thank you so much for your support!
