Brush glitching.

Over the last couple of days I've been experiencing a strange thing in Photoshop elements 9.

I ahve search over Google and YouTube but nothing is coming up.

When I use colours with my brushes (using the normal circle) it looks like it is drawing lots of circles joined together creating a line, resulting in a line which is not smooth. I use this for colouring in, but due to this it no longer makes smooth colour.

I'm not sure whether I have accidentally flicked on a setting or something, but I've completely took the settings apart and not found anything.

It's really frustrating!

Please help me!

Reset the brush tool. To do that, click on the little triangle on the brush tool's option bar, top left. If that does not fix it, suggest that you reset preferences to default. To do that:

Deleting the preferences file is an action that cannot be undone.

Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Mac: Option+Command+Shift)  immediately after Photoshop Elements begins launching. Click Yes to  delete the Adobe Photoshop Elements settings file

A new preferences file is created the next  time you start  Photoshop Elements.

    Hello,

Deleting the preference file would solve the issue, but if you do not wish to do so, here's another way.

When the Brush tool is selected, click on the 'Brush Settings' in the tool options. Then, drag the 'Spacing' slider to the value which serves the purpose. The default value is 25%.

    Hope that helps.
