Hi,

I am trying to learn how to use  Camera Raw on tutorials. I use Camera Raw 9.5 with Photoshop Elements 14. My problem is I do not have the same menu, i miss half of the buttons and my options are very limited.

Is it a version problem? Am I supposed to do the work on photoshop itself? Is there an update I missed?

Thanx for any help

Adobe Camera Raw differences between Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements

Don't use Photoshop tutorials for Elements.

Start with the Help button in the Camera Raw dialog and ask here for further help.

Thanx for your help. Does it mean I should « upgrade » photoshop elements to photoshop CC?

    It's your choice.

I only use Elements and its ACR version, even if I also have the CC with Photoshop and Lightroom (courtesy of Adobe for helping in the Elements forum...)

    - Use the right tutorials

    - Most of what is missing from the full Photoshop version is already covered by the existing options of Elements editor.

    - The features available in Elements are the most important and invaluable ones, they are the main strength for Elements over all of its competitors.

    - An external add-on like Elements+  gives back the few missing features

You can't have the all the power of Photoshop plus Lightroom for the price of Elements (Editor + ACR + organizer) but do you really need more?
