Camera Raw Not Opening in Photoshop Elements 2020

When I try opening a raw file (NEF) in Editor in PE2020 I get a pop up ad for Photoshop Elements 2024. When I click on "Continue Using Photoshop Elements", Editor totally crashes. I can open .jpg's fine in Editor. Camera Raw worked fine about a month ago. The only thing that I can see that's changed is that Adobe has inserted an ad for PE2024. Thoughts?

Thanks Greg, that worked. In case anyone is looking at this in the future, it ended up being an issue with my docking station. Once the docking station was taken out of the picture, Camera Raw opened fine.

I seriously doubt it is an ad that is causing the crash. Surely the ad only pops up occasionally? Do you possibly have a new camera that requires an updated Camera Raw plug-in?

No new camera, trying to open the same raw photos that I was able to open successfully in December. Thinking the problem might be related to Elements 2020, and needing to update anyway, I updated to Elements 2024. The same thing is happening. I can open .jpgs just fine in Elements Editor but when I try to open a raw file, Camera Raw starts to open and then crashes, shutting the whole program down. Does anyone know how to contact Adobe Support?
