Can I use an Amazon key to activate trial version of Elements 2018

I have recently started messing with the trial version of Elements 2018 and am thinking about purchasing it from Amazon. Can I just use the key they provide

or do I have to uninstall what I am using now and install the Amazon purchase?

    Just use the serial key you get when you buy.

    No need to reinstall pse 2018.

    Thanks. I was thinking I could but wanted to make sure. I have read a few reviews on Amazon where people weren't able to install the version they bought there. The trial version I DLed directly from Adobe has been working fine so far and didn't want to take a chance with the Amazon install, it's non-refundable.
