Can no longer open raw images in Elements 2024

I used to open raw images in Elements 2024, but now get a message that it requires GPU acceleration. I have been able to open raw files in the past and don't understand why I am unable to now. I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 card. I can still open raw files in Elements 2021! I am not a techie so don't understand all the directions on the Adobe website. I certainly don't want to upgrade further in case the problem continues plus I don't want a subscription.

Any help will be appreciated.
