Can photos be imported from Lightroom 6 to Photoshop Elements with Metadata

I am trying to transfer all of my photos from Lightroom 6.13 to Photoshop Elements 2019. The photos transfer easily but they appear to lose the metadata information such as GPS and key tags. Has anyone tried this before and were they successful?

    Hi ricki41005517,

    Lightroom can convert Photoshop Elements catalogs, not the other way round.

    You may refer this article for more info: How to import photos from Photoshop Elements, other Lightroom Classic CC catalogs, or apps such as iPhoto in Lightroom C… ​

    You are in the same situation as when you have to import your data in any other organizing software. You simply have Lightroom to write the metadata to the files and you import those files in a new catalog in Elements. You can recover tags, captions, ratings, but not collections or stacks.
