Can PS Elements be bundled with the CC PS/LR bundle?

I haven't been much of a PS user and have been dabbling with LR. I have the annual subscription to the CC bundle but am not making much use of it. One of the Photo Clubs I belong to seem to use mostly PE for their editing and most on the PC side. I use several programs on the Mac side but its been a few years since I used PE. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is some concession to be able to use PE from within the CC bundle that I have in lieu of PS itself. That was I could provide some instruction to other members of our club based on a program that they actually use (i.e.... PE).

I also have a Canon imageGraf Pro-1000 printer and their print software works as a plug-in from within LR, PS or PE. I suspect it would be useful to have PE available for use of their plug-in when printing finals.

Not sure that I want to purchase PE outright as I already pay for PS and LR and don't use them very much as it is. It also seems overkill to use PS just so I can use the Plug-in. Any thoughts?

In short no. PSE is stand-alone software and not part of Creative Cloud. If you have the photography plan the full Photoshop application is more powerful than PSE although PSE has several consumer “Quick” and “Guided” macro scripts not conveniently available in the full version of Photoshop.

Some user’s combine LR6 & PSE15 (both can be purchased as stand-alone applications without subscription) but LR6 lacks all the new features available in LR CC and if you have been using those tools, they would not be backward compatible.

Thanks for the quick response 99jon

It's not the answer I was hoping for as I was hoping to make better use of the CC subscription by at least using PSE... both for my own printing but also for demonstrating PSE techniques to our club users... many of whom don't use more than 5% of the tools in PSE. They would have no use whatsoever of PS itself... too daunting an interface and much too long a learning curve for them. PSE seems to be in their ballpark so was hoping to play on the same diamond as them. Guess not!

Anyway... thanks again for the clarification.
