Can't find the Slideshow dialog box

After I choose the media and select Create / Slideshow, it immediately starts the slideshow preview.  It never shows the dialog box to establish settings for the slideshow.  How do I find the slideshow settings (preferences) and get it off the preview mode?

After a long discussion with Adobe chat, I have been told that the newest Version 2018 no longer has a dialog box which allows you to choose your preferences for the slide show, e.g. time between slides, transition type, etc.  They have gone to using only a very few defaulted themes.

The tutorial that is attached to version 2018 - which talks about the dialog box - really belonged to version 2015.

That's terrible.  I have elements and premiere 2018 and have been trying to create a slideshow that includes the captions that are with the photos in the organizer.  I thought that i had finally found the solutions with the slideshow preferences option.  But now find that that is no longer available.  I have too many slides to manually enter all the captions.  Is there any other way to do this?

Hi

You have posted in the Photoshop forum. Photoshop CC does not have a create slideshow option.

What application are you using, e.g.  Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop Elements.....?
