can't install and activate elements 2020 on my new pc

Hello, I bought photoshop elements 2020 in november 2019. I bought an (official) adobe box with a cd rom and a serial nummer on it. Now my computer crashed (I got a new motherboard)  and I want to install elements again on my pc,  which does not have a cd rom. If I now want to download elements 2020 from Adobe I have to fill in my serial number. I get the message that it is already in use. Which it is ofcourse not in reality. Anyone? thanks

You should not have to fill in any serial number in order to access a download of your registered product. This link will take you to the Products page of your Adobe.com account. There you will find download links for your registered products and the serial numbers for each.
